In the "bus" & off to school!
It sucks to have to get up earlier than 7:30 now, but last year Sass was tardy 23 times (& that's just the ones they counted)! I told you I was a slacker mom!
Her teacher is my friend's mother so maybe she'll let me slide a few times. Between that, my rockin' 1st day gift & the fact that I'm room mother (for the 3rd straight year-I guess I'm just a sucker!) maybe she'll cut me some slack on being late & Sass not knowing her "sike" words.
How sad is it that Baby Girl loves school. She walks in there likes she's grown. Bow legs & all! Don't you love her piggy tails!
Bo was all about school, too. I wish Sassy was half as excited as the babies about school.
Check out Bo's "fresh ink" for the first day & the mismatched crocs! And the sandwich he packed to take to 1/2 day preschool!
Shoes- that's one battle I do not fight. My children can be dressed in $100 outfits, but their shoes will look like homeless children's.
Case in point, check out Sassy's 1st day outfit (FYI: she picked it out) cute little GAP sundress & ratty Hello Kitty (high-heeled) sandals from Target that she has worn ALL summer.
That's why we buy crocs, at least people will know we spent $30 on a pair of plastic shoes & we're not on WIC.
Sassy's bday is in two weeks, so I got her too cute invitations yesterday (50% off- Two Friends Fire Sale! How much do you love that?) & Prissy & I printed them last night & I will be sending the girls in Sass's class theirs home in their bookbags tomorrow! Slacker mom or saving Retro some $$$? You decide!

I'm laughing hysterically! I hope they are enjoying school -- and you too!

Lol.
I bet I'm more of a slacker than you are! Trust me.
