My bestie's little sister got married this weekend. And since we don't get out much, I
Friday night was a Low Country Boil rehearsal dinner with the entertainment provided by our favorite guitar player. It doesn't hurt that he's young & easy on the eyes. Retro & I got home
It's also Festival time around here, so Saturday morning my momma & I hauled all 3 children to the Arts & Crafts fair. Usually I find tons of stuff, but this year notsomuch. Rest assured I did spend plenty, just not as much as usual. Do you think I had anything to do with the fact that my brain cells were still asleep?
On Saturday night, the wedding was wonderful! The flowers were absolutely fabulous! Doesn't she make a beautiful bride? I still remember when she was a little girl.
The brides' family consists of tons of children, so we let Sass come with us. Due to her many stints as "the flower girl" she is a wedding pro. In fact, this was only about the 2nd wedding she has attended in which she didn't have to perform.
Like her momma, she loves a good party so she had a blast!
And I just had to post this... How cute is this candy bar!?!
It was a hit with the kids & the kids at heart or tummy!
I have a picture of me, my 2 besties & the bride, but for some reason I look like I'd had way too much to drink & Dre was busting out the cleavage & Bec would have just been pissed if I posted it. So, maybe somebody will send me some better quality pictures to post. please...
Seriously, I don't know what kind of dancing I was doing, but Sunday morning I couldn't get out of bed (bad back) so I spent the majority of the day on the heating pad. This morning wasn't much better. Thank the Lord the children are on Spring Break! I may be resending that statement later on in the week.
I remember back in the day when I could party all weekend & be bright-eyed & bushy-tailed first thing Monday morning. Well maybe not first thing, but eventually.
Now...notsomuch. I'll be lucky if I've recouporiated by Friday.

oh y'all looked so nice;) sounds like a great time....
happy monday my friend
It looks like it was a fun night. The last wedding I went to had a candy bar AND a mashed potato bar. You made your own combination of mashed potatoes and whatever toppings you wanted in a martini glass. We called them 'carbopolitans'...so yum!
Sounds like you all had a really good weekend!
omg how funny, trust me I am sure I would feel the same way!! Your blog is too cute, found it through Tami so I am now a new follower.. cant wait to read more! Have a great week!
ha I know what you mean!!! before I had Bailey i could party until the sun came up.. now by 9:30 or so im yawning and ready for my pjs!
The wedding pics are very nice :)
I had 3 glasses of wine the other night and woke up in the middle of the night with a monster headache. I can't even drink wine anymore? I'm the one who's old.
Are you ready to join the "we can't party like rock stars" club? I'm the founding member and you are welcome to join me!
Sass and I have a lot in common. I think I have been in 14 weddings to date. She's going to be the prom queen and cheerleading capt. I can tell!
You look gorgeous as usual!
I love your dress!
-->She was a beautiful bride. I'm glad you had fun!

Loving your blog. I read it at work everyday. We had a blast at the wedding also!! Joni
I'd have been getting "drunk" at that candy bar myself---YUM!
Great pics--you are so cute!
Most of the time when I drink, I swallow a few Advil with a big glass of water before I go to bed. It helps a lot. I'm just not the party girl I was in college anymore. Who knew?!?!
I feel your pain! This happens to me every few months and I'm reminded that I am no longer 22! it sucks!
You and Sass look fantastic! :)
CANDY BARS ARE BRILLIANT!!! I just love weddings!
This post cracked me up! Party on, Momma!!
