Here's a look at the HIP (home improvement project) so far.
These 2 rooms were in the original plan & are nearing completion. I hope.
This will be Bo's room. The addition will be his playroom area (so I can shut the door). The rest of the room will be the bedroom area & sitting area.

How much do you love his crawl-through "tunnel"?
This is the laundry room. There was a wall there.
Don't worry. I'm not planning on painting the whole house blue.
However, I am up for suggestions on my bedroom. It is the most undecorated room in the house. I would take a picture, but ya'll would laugh. We're talking late college/early marriage era furnishings. In the summer, my comforter is a down blanket & in the winter it's a chambray Ralph Lauren. or Polo. whatever. Anyway I'm giving that to Bo.
And my master bath needs a face lift too. Does anyone know Nate Berkus' number?
Sassy is having a slumber party for her birthday at the end of the month. Think my house will be finished?
*Oh & my mother wanted me to clarify that she didn't say REorganize my kitchen. Well, it was organized when we moved in 8 years ago.*

I love the blue...and the tunnel is awesome! I would especially love that if I were a kid:)

I LOVE having the separate play area! What a great way to keep the rest of the room tidy, and the tunnel makes it SO cool!

I literally LOL'd when I read that we can't be BFF's because I sort my whites. My husband had to ask me what was so funny but I didn't bother to tell him our secret 'cause he's just not cool like that.
And I'm worried that you're NOT painting your whole house blue! Why the heck not? Huh, huh, huh?
As far as bedroom suggestions- how 'bout a lovely brothel theme? That always goes over really well with the male species!

You may have just inspired me to knock a hole in the wall of Reagan's closet that backs onto the guest bedroom to create a tunnel! I'm thinking of switching her room from where it is now TO the guest bedroom, and then her room can be the toy room, and we just won't have a guest bedroom! Am I crazy??!?!
Love the tunnel! The dids must thing that's VERY cool.
I'm redoing the bedroom too. I'm going with brown, grass green and white.
It's a struggle to come up with ideas.

I love that tunnel...what a cook idea and his own playroom! That sounds like an awesome room! Show us pics when it is all done.
I need to decorate too! We have hung zero pictures and we've lived in our condo over a year now!
