I just got out out of a long, luxurious tub. It's a big Jacuzzi but the jets stopped working. I think the boys did something... that's OK I don't use the jets.
I love a lovely smelling bubble bath. I clean it out, then pour water and I get in while the water is pouring in and I love to keep the water running as I'm in it. I have a great big skylight over head and the windows were open. It's raining out and I love the sound of the rain. It's cold here in CT, about 65. The cold air felt good coming in through the window. I had my Diet Coke and my copy of Social Climbers. I'm now in my flannel PJs (which is insane considering it's mid June.)
I love a bath and take one every night. I get in after running the water, but once I am in the tub, I love to add water and get the bath water super hot. A bath is so relaxing to me! I never shower unless I am somewhere that doesn't have a tub. Love & blessings from NC!
The only baths I take are leisurely baths, otherwise, it's all about the shower. The leisure baths get filled first before I dip a toe in.
The one person in our house that takes regular baths would be the little monkey (my son). He gets in while the water is still running - he gets stripped and thrown in the tub right away. If I waited until the tub was full, he would either jump in the tub with all of his clothes on or strip himself and run around the house, no doubt peeing as he ran. He's rather impatient when it comes to bath time.
I don't get baths often... I'm usually a shower girl. But when I do- I'm all about waiting! I LOVE to step into a full bath with a BIG fluff of bubbles! :D
I get in after the water is drawn, when baby is down for her morning nap. Since I wash my hair every other day, I bathe on the days when my hair doesn't need washing.
As the inventor of the world's best bath foam, I recommend certain protocols for bathing with different additives. If you're adding a foaming product to the water ("bubble bath"), then it depends on how well you trust it not to irritate your genitals. If you trust it well enough, then foam it in shallow water, get in, and then finish filling the tub. If you're a little iffy on it, then foam it shallow, finish filling it, and push the foam aside to make a hole in it to sit and slide under the suds. This is all to avoid breaking the foam.
If you're using a fizzing product (fizzie grains or bomb), fill the tub and get in it before adding the material. That's to avoid wasting the effervescence; you want to feel the fizz.
If you're using water-"softening" bath salts that are alkaline, such as sodium sesquicarbonate tablet or needles or borax, make sure the tub is full and the material completely dissolved and well mixed before entering. You don't want a higher concentration than you bargained for touching you.

Aren't ya glad ya asked ;)
Am I going to be the only one who waits? I don't get a chance to take a bath often, but am pretty sure I wait until I turn the water off.
Running water! I take a bath every day. I cannot LIVE without a bath!It is my stress reduction.
I wish I had time to take a bath!
I wait, then get it. For the kids though they are often put in as soon as I turn the taps on.
While running.
Wait till the water is done and then I get in!

We don't have a bath tub in our bathroom--can you BELIEVE?!

Water running-that way I can adjust the temp, hotter or colder while I'm in there.
I wait until the tub is full of water.
Get in while the water is running, of course. Wouldn't want the water to turn cold and NOT know it!
Because I am spacey, I could never leave a tub running. I get in while it's filling :)
I usually get in when it's running so i can adjust the temp if needed!
