Sharing?

Baby Girl is having some major issues with the concept of sharing.

She will take your stuff (food, drink, crayons, whatever) & say "We SHARON".
-----------------------------------
On Tuesday, Bo burnt some popcorn in our microwave. He decided to do it himself & set the time for 72 minutes. We stopped it when the microwave started smoking! Needless to say, the popcorn was burnt to a crisp!

Now, three days & much cleaning later, our microwave STILL has a burnt smell! Especially when it's in use. Does anyone know how to get the smell out?

I'm working on the partners for my swap! I hope to have them posted by tomorrow evening. Thanks to everyone who is participating!!!

Try a mixture of vinegar and lemon, it might work.

Semi - I am not understanding what Baby Girl's issues are??? It works for me! haha ;-) xoxo

On the microwave - I was gonna suggest vinegar, also. You might try googling and see if anything is suggested.

Cut up a lemon and place in a bowl with some water. Cook til water boils and let set in the microwave til cool. The smell will be totally gone

My Grandmother did this one time...she put a potato in the microwave and put in 30 mins. instead of 3 mins....fell asleep and woke up to smoke in the kitchen. She tried everything to get the smell out. Finally got so frustrated with it...she just threw it away and bought a new one. Guess she didn't know the lemon trick!

What Susan said! You may have to repeat a few times. But boiling the lemon water causes lemon evaporation into the air filters and makes a nice condensation to wipe down the microwave with between boilings.

I set my microwave on fire in college and this did the trick to salvage it for a few more years... =)

My little Goose is having the same sharing problem.

Yah, the lemon is great for cleaning anything out of the micro.

You can also try a capful of Vanilla extract in a bowl of water, heat to boiling and let sir till cool. I alternate between this and lemon, depending on what I have on hand. Both also make it a breeze to wipe the microwave clean,

Hi. Just found your blog via Preppy 101!

For the microwave try vinegar and lemon or lime! Mr. Newlywed burnt some food in there the other day, and it got rid of the smell quickly.

I can't wait to come back and read more!
