It's the little things

Okay, I'm a total slacker.  I haven't posted since last Thursday.  But I have been thinking about this post all week.  On second thought, maybe I shouldn't have told you that because it's not really worth the wait.  But it's all I've got.

Here's some of the little things that make me smile... (or laugh whatever the case may be.)

*When my besties & I go out & we get to see something like this.  I believe he may have dyed his hair with Kool-aid.  (that really does work, FYI)
If this is your husband/boyfriend, I apologize... on so many levels.

*We all know my infinity for cocktails & what goes better with a yummy cocktail than cutesy cocktails napkins. (When you add alcohol, I doesn't take much to make me happy.)
They're ever better with humorous sayings.

But, the smartass ones are the best.  Of course, everything's better with sarcasm.

(It says: Some days are just a waste of makeup.
Which is so true...on so many levels.)
*Speaking of cocktails, Daily's has come out with these pouches, that you freeze & the alcohol is already in them.  (see the littlest things) They come in all kinds of favors too.  And they're pretty strong, sometimes you have to add a little Sprite. Is it 5 o'clock yet?
*And the greatest invention known to man has made it into my life...
It's ketchup in a dipping cup instead of those little baggie things.  No more having squirt ketchup onto napkins, then having to deal with disgusting ketchup-y napkins. which may be the grossest thing ever.

*Strike that. THIS may be the greatest invention. I can't even begin to explain how good these are & I'm not a big peanut butter fan.  That's what's the best thing about these little bites of heaven, it's more chocolate than peanut butter.  And yummy.
*Since I'm considering a dramatic weight gain to combat these Grand Canyon sized wrinkles around my mouth, (seriously, I will no longer be photographed smiling sober) I have taken to consuming large quantities of gourmet cupcakes.  Luckily, the bakery is over 30 minutes away (& totally out of the way).  These are the ones I picked up on the way home from taking Baby Girl to her doctor's appointment in Atlanta (another post) on Friday.  I may or may not have taken a bite out of each one.  I did share the missing one with my FIL.
They fell over that's way they look bad, well that & the whole bite thing.
And then this week, my friend Heather brought me 4 more!!!  Happy, happy, happy!

*Now this last thing (Pandora bracelet) doesn't make me happy yet, but it could on Valentine's Day!  hint, hint  Then Retro could just get me a charm for all gift-giving occasions & we'll never had to go through the whole Christmas shoe incident.
Friends & family members (especially my MIL & SIL): any help with this project will be greatly appreciated.

Now I'm off to decorate for Sassy's Valentine's Day.  I know y'all really can't wait for that post.

Happy Friday!

I got a bag of those Reeces bites in my stocking and I may or may not have eaten all of them before Christmas day was over... they are dangerous because you don't have the extra step of unwrapping them

Chris got me some of those minis the other day for my chocolate cravings and they were AWESOME! Although they are tiny and unwrapped so they go pretty quickly, good thing it was a little bag!

I haven't seen the ketchup cups in person yet. I may have to hot all the fast food places to see who has them. Haha.

I almost bought a bag of the pb cups. It was hard to walk away.

Little things always make me happy. I am pretty easy to please. haha

Love the dude with the kool-aide head. Pretty sure I saw his girlfriend at Wally. LOL

Here I am starving to death/on a diet and you posted a new Reese's product?? And mini drinks with alcohol already added in? I die.

PS I want a Pandora bracelet ever so badly.

I discovered the mini Reese's at Christmas. How evil. You don't even have to take the time to unwrap them before shoveling them down. It's EVIL!

Those cupcakes look a LOT like Gigi's cupcakes. Holy moley. Now I want one. One of the peanut butter ones...

OK, Hi! I'm new here.
I can't tell you how happy it makes me to "meet" someone else that takes a bite of each cupcake! My family has threatened to disown me for doing that with assorted chocolates.
"Christmas shoe incident"? I must know more!

OMG, I'm totally hoping for a Pandora bracelet tomorrow too! See, great minds!
Love how you "may or may not" have taken a bite out of those yummy cakes. I'm better you "may" have...just a gut instinct though.
Ok, let me know if you got the bracelet tomorrow! I tried grilling my seven year old at bedtime tonight, asking where Daddy had gone yesterday and why they had been gone so long, and had they been to a jewellery store, but the little bugger wouldn't snitch!

My favorite cocktail napkin says, "You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on." I can TOTALLY relate to cocktail napkins!
