And the fun begins...

Monday (when I intended to write this post) I switched out my smaller purse to my LV Alwaysfull Neverfull & I pulled out my day planner to update.  I keep a desk-size calendar above my toilet, which works out good because my potty is in a closet room on its on off of the main bathroom, so nobody really sees it.  Not that my bathroom is a high-traffic area anyway.  If you are expecting, the calendar by the potty is a great way to keep up with the baby's milestones (my scrapbook lady gave me that tip).

Now what was I talking about? oh yeah...my calendar.  Anyway I can tell the holidays are totally over because my schedule is really filling up. Sass & Bo are participating the in community children's drama's spring production & guess who is helping, Bo is playing Upward basketball (great program, except for the early Saturday mornings), Wednesday is Baby Girl's dance class & church.  Thursdays are free, except for Bunko Thursdays.

This week alone has been crazy. Monday; the in-laws took Sass to her Atlanta doctor (who did the same thing that the pediatrican would have done when he comes back from his heart attack sabatical), we had the first play practice & parts were assigned & Bo had basketball practice. Tuesday; I had Bible study, which the Lord knows I don't need to miss & Bo had basketball pictures & his coach had a school board meeting to attend, so the team mom had to be in the picture (guess who that is). Wednesdays are always crazy with church & dance at. the. same. time.

While I'm on the subject of basketball & church, Upward is a (Baptist) church-sponsered program & very popular in our small town, so it turns into a total social event.  Imagine how crazy it is to hang out with folks, that you used to drink party hang out with, that you haven't seen since high school, & chit-chat with their spouses & watch all the children play ball.

Next Friday, we are taking Baby Girl to the pediatric urologist in Atlanta. And surgery will be scheduled. She missed her medicine TWO, yes only 2 days & woke up with another infection. Can't you imagine how happy that made me? I'm going to have to fit her surgery into my busy social schedule.  But that is my #1 priority. I may have to take an extra large dose of Xanax before that visit.

And of course we have the much anticipated 3rd grade Valentine Dance! I ordered 3 dresses to choose from.  One of which was the first dress I posted before.  The rest were size 7 & turns out she needed a size 6, so we had to drop back & punt, the fact that "my" dress was available in the right size must be a sign from God so of course I'm getting that one.

I am currently experiencing a slight obsession with Oreos.  It happens from time to time. Baby Girl's ballet teacher told me I was looking skinny today, so I made up for that by eating 6ish Oreos.

So anybody got any big plans for Valentine's Day?  I'll be having a awesome Valentine-y themed giveaway from Kodak Gallery coming up soon.  Stay tuned.

Psst Oreos don't have calories. Especially not the double stuffed ones!

The Boy plays Upward too. However, this year, the guy doing the halftime devotionals, who is the husband of a friend of mine, is AWFUL...totally inappropriate for a CHILD CENTERED activity... I'm looking around wondering, "Am I the only one put off by this???"

Good luck with Baby Girl's appointment next week.

Oh, and Oreos...they have no calories... Did you not know that???

My valentines plan is to buy 6ish packages of Oreos and eat them all by the 14th.

My youngest is playing Upward, too. I'm thinking of putting him in Upward soccer in the spring.

I thought life was supposed to slow down after the holidays? Can't tell that from your schedule.

No plans for V day here. I don't really like that holiday.

WOW! That is one active schedule ...but it all revolves around the children,... which is a reflection of what an AWESOME mom they have ....they may not know it yet or show the appreciation ..but they will have amazaing childhood memories and it will be because MOM made them a priority!!! Bless my friend.

Oh Baby Girl, stay strong ...you are so little to be going through things that us adults have difficulty with. Praying that your Angels stay by your side and that when this is all over you will feel better than better!!!

Can't wait to read about Sass's 3rd grade Valentune party!!!

At the HHL household we will be taking it low key for Valentine's ... wishing you a great day! HHL

I can't wait to see pics from the dance! I love that kind of thing, so cute!

I hope baby Girl's appointment goes well, and surgery can be scheduled asap. No point in her suffering any longer. I'm actually having hip surgery a week from tomorrow, and it was super annoying to schedule that into my life! Especially because I'm going to be home in bed for 2+ weeks, and my co-worker is preggers with twins! She's at 32 weeks, and I really don't want to leave our department short staffed if she has them early, which I know is typical. Anyway, xanax sounds good right about now. Lol!
