Friday Fragments Finally

It's mean a long time since I've done FF, so here's what's rattling around it my head.

CSN Stores has asked me to do another product review & since I love my waffle iron, I jumped at the change.  If your not familiar, CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find anything you need whether it be a bedroom furniture, bathroom shelving or even cute Christmas decor.

Saw this on Facebook... ‎1) Go to google maps 2) Click on get directions 3) Type in Japan as starting point 4) Type in China as ending point 5) Go to number 43 on the direction.  And check out the point in the middle of the ocean that starts with a F.  How would you like to have that for your address?

Baby Girl asked me this morning why she wets her diaper/pull-up (she wears one to bed).  I told her we were working on fixing that.  She knows what's going on & I feel kinda bad. The surgery can't fix the wetting, let's hope the medicine can.

Is it bad that I pride myself on being able to talk just like Ruby from Max & Ruby?  Maybe I could do books on tape.

I still haven't found all my winter clothes! I found Retro's & he doesn't even wear winter clothes till January.  I think that's a sign, don't you?

a hour later...

Found them.  After typing that I went on a mission.  I reorganized my storage area, which holds all our out-of-season clothes AND all my holiday decor (that's all holidays), that was overflowing even without the fall stuff.  Bingo. I found the clothes.  They were in a box that I thought was stuff that was the wrong size or out-of-style.  yes, I'm a pack-rat. I got all the Christmas ready to come upstairs in TWO WEEKS. And did what I've been meaning to do for years, I hung all my wreaths on the wall in the hallway (of the basement, not the main house. I'm crazy, but even I have to draw the line.)

Baby Girl has gotten into the old cartoons on Boomerang & Cartoon Network, like Scooby-Doo & The Flintstones.  Retro thinks it's neat, but I kinda miss Kai-Lan.

I've decided this is the year that I'm going to tell Sass about Santa Claus.  I came up with all kind of lies last year to throw her off. And let me just say that the Tooth Fairy that comes to our house is a hot mess. Plus, apparently she doesn't work on Labor Day.  Anybody got any ideas on how to go about doing this?

This is the only weekend for the rest of the year that we don't have something major going on & soccer's over so no more 9am games. Wonder what I can give them to make them sleep late in the morning...

Happy Weekend!

I don't see the address you are talking about.

I don't know about Sass, but I'll be interested to hear what you have to say because I know that will be happening with us in the next year or two.

Sorry about the bedwetting. My Baby Girl still does it and she's going to be six. I'm just not going to worry about it until later.

My sister's kids love Tom and Jerry. We all watched a Flintstones marathon together too. I personally am a big fan of them all!

sitting here catching up on your blog...I'm a couple of posts behind. That sucks that they want to postpone the surgery for 3 months! And, oddly enough, I've also "lost" some of my winter clothes...guess I need to go organize the attic, but so far, I don't need them that badly. and a Cake & Cocktails party is the best theme I've ever heard!! And, just for laughs...my son is beside me with a pack of Ritz crackers asking for a "fucker" - how he came up with that for CRACKer is beyond me...I hope he doesn't say that at his church preschool.

Congrats on finding the missing clothes!

Hmmm...not sure how to tell Sass. We never really told our kids, they told us in a statement/question - "There's not really a Santa is there?" Good luck!

We all still laugh at Tom & Jerry! Classic!

Yes Virginia therereally is a Santa Claus... ;).. hmmm.. sorry not much help with how to break it to Sass.

Ah Baby Girl ... I hope those doctors get it right soon.. sweet baby hang in there. PS ~ if it hasn't arrived yet .. something should be in the mailbox very soon!!!XO...HHL

Aww, poor Baby Gir. It must hurt your heart to hear her wonder such things. I hope the new medicine will help.

I'm impressed that you can do Ruby's voice...I'm waiting for that Vlog!!

I might ask Sass first - are you sure you want to know about Santa? She might be sad when she finds out. Tell her to believe in the spirit of Santa, plus she'll get more stuff as long as she believes. hehe - I love the Virginia story. Use that!! Have a great weekend! xoxo

Since you don't have anything major going on this weekend come to Skyview for the Christmas Bazaar!

I would totally do what you did...leave in the middle of a blog to go and do something.

Santa...hmmmm...such a hard one. I have been debating this one too. Especially since this year we have very little funds...as in none. I am pretty sure the oldest already knows. But I don't know. I figured it out on my own, but I was about 11 or 12 and my mom didn't go out of her way at that point to make it seem otherwise. So I accepted it. Good luck.

We are going to hold on to the belief as long as we can. I can remember being so disappointed when I was in about the 5th grade.... they learn things too early if you ask me. My two have always asked Santa for one or two things....he doesn't get to be the star of our show. We have always made sure Mama and Daddy outdo Santa anyway so that there won't be a let down.

I was hanging out with my neice the other day and she said 'Aunt Stesanie shhhh this is a NEW one!' about Scooby Doo...the same Scooby Doos that have been on since my mom was watching them lol

I was never told about Santa, I just figured out that it's the blessing of the season to give and receive and never really knowing who it was - I'm 44 and I still believe - I just happen to be the Jolly Old Elf half the time :)

I remember that danged tooth fairy! Always forgetting and trying to fake it in the morning..."Oh, she must have dropped it over here!" [rolls eyes]

The Santa revelation--such a bummer, though a necessary one, I suppose. Good luck!

Darn! I thought there was a clothes shopping trip in your future!

Hah, that's epic that you can do Ruby's voice :)!

The Santa thing, I'm sure the boy is onto it (he's 10) but he's a smart cookie as he wants to keep up with the extra prezzies - and the dream alive for little sister.

Ooof, soccer has become my new life, but thank goodness all games are post-6 PM (well, the rush hour traffic isn't great, but such is life).

Here from FF - you're hilarious!

My head is out of the sand, and I called the doctor. Seems to be a little more serious than I thought. You have to worry a little when she says, "If ANYTHING changes over the weekend, we will need to hear from you or go to hospital!":( Of course, I am looking for every little sign now. Headed to doctor on Tuesday.

Just tell the kid about Santa straight out. She probably already knows and has for awhile, but why let on that you know. My kid had me snowed, and when it came out one day that there was no Santa, he was all like, "Already knew. Just was scared you wouldn't give me presents if I knew."
Love that your ADD kicked in mid-post and you had to go look for winter clothes. And tell me, what exactly are winter clothes in Georgia?...socks?

My boys are watching older cartoons, too. They love The Snorks.

Oh, and on The Hub, they're watching Pound Puppies, My Litte Pony, and Strawberry Shortcake!

Wow, that Santa question is a hard one! When you get that figured out, let me know:)

we are not going to tell the boys till they ask us about Santa. i feel wierd that we are going to have 'the talk' with Pierce and we haven't even talked about Santa, the Toothfairy, Easter bunny, etc. but when they ask we will be very upfront about it and that it is so fun to have that magical belief while we know the real reason for the season is the birth of Jesus.

Good luck with the Santa thing. My son is 8, so I know the time is coming. I'm going to just wait for him to talk to me about it. Right now, as far as I know, he still believes.

You know the age of my kids and we have NEVER confirmed that there is no Santa. We told them they could believe what they wanted BUT we have other children in the house who DO believe and they could keep their beliefs to themselves. Smart@$$ kids just look at you but they shut-up. They know to be quiet. My mother NEVER told me the truth about Santa, I mean you know but when you actually tell the child, you take away a small piece of their childhood. I will NEVER tell mine :|

Misoprostol tablet
What is this medicine?

MISOPROSTOL helps to prevent stomach ulcers in patients using nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDS, drugs commonly used for arthritis, inflammation, and pain). Misoprostol reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach and protects the stomach lining from the effects of acid.
