This sure ain't Disney World

Well, I guess if I was the patient & getting stabbed with needles, it'd be close.  And they served liquor. (in case you're new, I dislike WDW) Really it's not bad, just boring as hell.  And no good TV channels (beside Food Network & E!) OR my DVR!

So we're on day 3 at the Children's Hospital & here's what's on my mind, since I know y'all are dying to know...

*I have spent more time on Facebook in the last 3 days than I have in a whole month combined & I have gotten the sweetest comments & shows of support from all my FB & blog friends.  Y'all are awesome.

*All this computer time wouldn't be possible without my awesome bestie, aDp, who's letting me borrow her laptop!  You're the best.

*Granted I look like a homeless person up here, but I may be the best dressed homeless person.  I'm just sayin'.  Somebody bring me some scrubs.

*Speaking of homeless...Baby Girl's hair is ALL jacked up.

*She keeps telling people what she's going to be for Halloween & EVERYBODY thinks she's saying Santa.  Really?  Who dresses up like Santa for Halloween.  It's SCARECROW people!

*My cousin's whore ex-wife got married this past weekend.  And now he's having to sell the house they built on my grandparent's farm after she burnt down the original one.  Baby Girl needs to be well by Thursday, so I can tell her (the ho) off at the playschool costume contest.  I'm having plenty of time to come up with what I'm going to say.

*Personally I think Taylor Swift doesn't need to be writing too many songs about her ex-boyfriends, cause I'm afraid guys might not want to date her.

*The more Baby Girl watches Scooby-Doo, the more I dislike it.

*Anybody got any cute ideas for Halloween sweets for Bo's class party?  I'm thinking  Frankenstein cupcakes in ice cream cones, but if BG doesn't get better soon, they may be getting WM yucky-iced cookies.

*I'm taking a survey.  What is your child's MOST favorite Halloween candy?  LEAST favorite?

Speaking og FB, did you by chance send me a friend request?? (to my personal account)I got on from a blogger (i assume cause the only friends we have in common are other bloggers) But I don't know who it is!!

Anyway, thanks for the giggles!! Glad your still in good spirits, even if you look homeless! Heck, if I were closer, I'd bring you some wine and a change of clothes!!

What's the latest?? Any thoughts on when you might be going home? Hope this is over really soon!

I hope babygirl gets better soon. No one likes hospitals and I'm pretty sure after three days of Scooby Doo you have now seen all episodes (maybe more than once).

As for a snack for Bo's class. I'm kind of stuck on Candy Corn bark right now. Melt a package of white chocolate, pour it in a pan over some wax paper, add as much candy corn/pretzels/cranberries as you want and let cool. Break it apart.

*Lots of people use oreos and/or sprinkles instead of cranberries.

I hope you are hanging in and little one gets better soon!

My son doesnt like candy so he just goes for the chips and goldfish crackers lol oh and he loves getting granola bars too!

I thought that exact same thing about Taylor Swift. I mean seriously chick, find some new material. She needs to channel some angry chick rock or something.

Hope BG gets better soon. I'm going to make homemade chocolate covered marshmallows for Halloween. Or at least I'm going to try.

Hope you get to go home soon.

And I agree with the Taylor comment. And am I the only one who thinks the girl can't sing? It's like she screaming..... or maybe she's just mad at all her exes.

Poor girl! :[

Has Taylor Swift even had a boyfriend? She's always writing lovey songs and break up songs but I don't know if she has!

Maybe she could date Kanye and that would give her a whole new CD.

Give her lovin' from me!

I'm so glad you're keeping yourself entertained. Hopefully, you have plenty of xanax!!

I asked my kids what their least favorite candy was and they just stared at me with open-mouths. Apparently, they have never met candy they didn't like!

Hope your daughter gets well soon so you can go home and live a normal life!

My 10-year-old is having a Halloween nightmare this year: she just got braces on...
And they're still new enough she's not veered off the no-no list the orthodontist gave her. She doesn't even want to go trick-or-treating!
Bummer.

I would have to say that Braeden's favorite is the trusted "tootsie roll". I know...just as boring as ever. Brody likes anything peppermint...or any kind of hard candy....you know...the kind that is wonderful for your teeth. Neither likes the little boxes of Nerds or the Tots candy which is like super glue to your teeth. I guess I need to hook up as a follower and quit being an anonoymous stalker. Mitzi Mc.

Favorite- bubble gum, suckers, twix
Least favorite- almond joy and starburst

I would so do the iced cookies from WM- you deserve a break and from what i know of most kid parties they don't eat much anyway. Most eat a few cheetos and lick the icing off the cupcakes.

Keeping your sweet little in my prayers. Glad you have a laptop for entertainment.

The halloween candy bark is a good idea, it's easy and super cute. here's a link I had bookmarked -

I hope your baby gets well enough to go home soon! Any yeah, who the hell dresses up like Santa for Halloween. I can't believe you still have your sense of humor through all this...I think I'd be a nutcase. (OK, so may I already am - but ya know what I mean!)

And my kids pretty much like all candy, except for the cheap ass stuff. Oh wait, that's me. They like pretty much everything. Especially all that gooey, sticky mess that's terrible for your teeth.

I just read my comment and noticed typos. I freakin' hate typos, but it's late and I'm not going to go to the trouble of deleting and re-writing. I'll assume you'll know what I mean and that I'm not completely illiterate. (did I spell that right?!)

Buy cupcakes and let the kids decorate with Halloween sprinkles and canned icing.

Sorry about all your trouble! BG is lucky to have you there.

It's good that you had the laptop to keep you connected. It makes me wonder how people before us did it!

Glad BG is on the mend.

My kids love chocolate, smarties, tootsie rolls and nerds. They don't like the now and later and laffy taffy stuff. I usually throw that out.

I had the exact same thought about t-swizzle when I saw the People cover last week. Beauty can only take you so far, sweetheart.

I haven't been on blogger recently, and I just read about baby girl! OMG! I hope she's feeling better (it sounds like she is if she's getting excited for Halloween). You're all in my prayers.

OMG, I had to go back and read about Baby Girl! Poor thing! Hope she is doing better soon.

I can tell from the Taylor Swift comment that you've been reading the latest issue of People magazine! Well, it sucks that Baby Girl is in hospital, but when else would you be able to justify reading about celebrities...'cause I know you certainly don't have time to be lounging on the couch reading about all them fancy folk!
You are a trooper Tracy. You've been standing vigil for days now, and yet, here you are making me smile and laugh. Take care sweet lady. And i hope you get to tell the ho off at the costume party!...then blog about it please.

I missed what happened to your daugter so I had to go back and read...OMG, how scary!!! Cole had a seizure like that one night when I was pregnant with Garrett and Landon...he had a super high fever and it totally freaked us out. I hope Baby Girl will be okay!!!!
