Healthy eating is a crock, penetration yardage & some other stuff

I have decided all this talk about getting your children to eat healthy is a crock.  Baby Girl is the best eater I have & she's been in the hospital twice.  The other two have both had surgery (Sass-cosmetic & Bo- ENT) & didn't even have to stay overnight.  In fact, Bo was back to eating McNuggets the day after getting his tonsils & adenoids removed.  So forget the veggies, do what the Chick-fil-a cow says "Eat More Chicken".

Baby Girl is feeling better.  I'm still checking her temp every so often.  I'm not interested in a replay of that seizure.  She went to her Halloween party at playschool today.  And I know you all are interested in this, I did tell my cousin's ex garden tool wife what I thought about her & made her cry.  I just call 'em like I see 'em.  She doesn't have many friends, so I wonder if I'm the only one besides my cousin to call her out on what she's done.  I know her momma hasn't.  And I was fixing to go out her (the mother) too, but my momma & aunt stopped me.  We were in church after all.

Sassy's football game lost the championship game Tuesday night to penetration yardage. What? How do you explain to little boys that they just started keeping score on this year that they lost a game with the score of 0-0?  There was also some other fishy business goings on with the refs & the time keeper.  I told Sass that I life, some people play dirty & she needs to go ahead & accept that.

The girls posing with their teachers.  And the after game pep talk. A lot of the boys were crying they were so upset.

My bestie's little boy had his birthday Halloween party Saturday, Baby Girl was upset she had to miss it & her friend, Caroline's Halloween party.  But it wouldn't be fair to the other two, so I took them & we bought goodies back to the hospital for BG.  She was good with that!
Black cat & Black-eyed P (feel free to steal that idea)

Big plans for Saturday.  Soccer game, Fall Festival at the church, terrorize Emma Ruth's old folk's home assisted living center (they asked for it), then trick or treating.  I'll be doing a post Halloween giveaway next week, so look for it.

I dunno what you mean by terrorizing the assisted living center, but I think it would be funny to go there dressed as the grim reaper! Haha!

Glad Baby Girl is feeling better and I think it's fabulous that you didn't put aside your plans for your cousin's ex just because Baby Girl was sick. I think I wouldn't want to be on your bad side! :)

My stepson would live off chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and corn dogs if we let him. There have been tears and pretend vomiting at our dinner table on occasion!

I'm glad she's doing better! I'm also giggling about telling that chick off at church!

I'm so glad she is back home, and I would be doing the same thing with the temperature.

Good for you for telling her off. Nothing wrong with speaking your mind.

Glad she is feeling better she looks so pitiful in that hospital bed.

I know to well about how adults can act when it comes to youth sports with both kids playing baseball we are way to familiar with this, you would think their lives depended on that win.

that black eyed p is Hilarious!

Glad you're little one is doing better! I love the black eyed P idea - too funny. And, I gotcha back if you get in a cat fight..hahaha. Somehow, I don't think you'd need it. Hope everyone stays well. We're dealing with asthma at my house :P (Mr. Two) It's always somethin'.

Oh you poor sweet girl. That picture broke my heart. :( Yeah healthy eating is overrated. And have you ever read the parent magazine healthy snack ideas and such. Yeesh, they suggest things even I won't eat!
