I finally feel like I've hit the big leagues because I got a
Our school has been up to our ears in magazine sales. You would be amazed at how much money selling magazines makes. Today I worked the "money machine". I wish I had my camera to take a picture of Sass in this thing. Can I just say I need one of these things for my next party. Dollar bills + a leaf blower + party punch = tons of fun!
There is something that I ride by everyday on the way to school that bothers me. Someone is building a house with scenic view of I-75. Why? And it's not because there's no other place to put it, there's trees behind it & a road to the side. It just bothers me.
The Nanny is my new favorite show. well favorite OLD show. I get excited about watching The Nanny & Chelsea Lately. I really need to get out more.
Baby Girl told me that "Booty is a fancy word for butt". Too many Fancy Nancy books?
Bo's teacher told me he was a little hyper. Very smart, but hyper. Dr. K said unless it affects his academic performance, not to worry. It cost $1200 to have Sass tested & as much as I pay that school... I just pray Baby Girl is an even mixture of the 2 of them! I totally think Kate Gosselin has a legitimate reason for being crazy.
Baby Girl's birthday party is coming up. I wanted it to be unisex, so we're doing a butterfly/bug/flower theme. These are going to be the invitations...
and this will be the entertainment...
no word yet on the cake, but I'm thinking a colorful butterfly. And as for the time, I'm definitely thinking HAPPY HOUR!
Any ideas for some cleaver Halloween costumes? One year Sass was a bubble bath. That was back when she was an only child.
Some friends of ours checked their children out of school early today & are surprising them with a trip to Disney World. I wish I was that kind of mom, but I'm not. After school I told Sass & Bo about this. Sass asked who packed their clothes & I told her Mrs. Gina (the mom) did. She told me to never to that for her. So I guess I'm off the hook!

This must be the best week to do Disney - no kids!
Have a great weekend!
A bubble bath costume? That's so cool. I like your b-day theme idea. You'll be great with the coaching thing!!!!
You and your kids are a riot! I'm going to tell my mom about the bubble bath costume - she loves making the twins their costumes.
I've got an award for you!
YaY for cheerleading!!! Sass is going to wow them with her charms and grace...and those dimples! ~ I'm sure she is so happy to have you coaching - but as a grown up girl of 9, its probably uncool to show it ;).
I've always liked the Nanny!!
Ohhh, Baby Girl's birthday looks like its going to be so much fun!!! XO ..HHL
I love the Nanny! Mr. Sheffield is one of my crushes. ;-) Can't wait for the cheerleader stories + birthday party pics. Love you! You're a fabulous mom. xoxo
By the way - I just read that comment. I'm sure it's someone who is green with envy of you and your life. Ricidulous and hateful. xoxo
That's hilarious that she never wants you to pack her clothes. LOL
Those invitations are adorable! And that bouncer looks like fun!
I'm so not creative with costumes at all.
Hi there! stopping by from New Friend Friday. I'm a new follower!
Babe is going to be a tiger. The bubble bath is super cute!
I love it all! Thanks for giving me the giggles before going to bed!
Happy holiday weekend to you!
o.k...the house with a view of I-75 is killing me too! WTH???
FUNNY! Have a great weekend!!!

Love the bug theme. I got stuck coaching soccer too. I feel your pain.
I am pretty sure Sass and Miss Priss were separated at birth!
Redneck chic? Is that describing decor?
The Nanny rocks. I'm shocked at how people volunteer to be on television. Wife Swap is another one...shocked.
And I agree...there is nothing scenic about I75. Why would one build a house overlooking it?
Love the invites! As for costumes...well I am not the creative type...I ask my kids what they want to be right around this time, and then seal the deal. Once they have committed to a costume that is it. No changes. So far we have: a gothic fairy, devil/angel combo and the boy is torn between Buzz Light Year and SpiderMan. We shall see. AS for me, well I am thinking of buying a bridesmaid dress, getting a little plastic tiarra and toting a fake gun so that I can be the Homecoming Queen with the gun! ahhahaha.
I have to take credit for being Super-Slacking Mom on Halloween:
Last year I offered to pay off my kids with $5 each of the candy of their choice if we could skip the whole thing and stay home to watch a movie.
They bit that like a hungry fish on a bug!!!
They've already asked if they have to wait until Oct. 31 to get their loot this year! (And I'd almost forgotten!)
tehee your so redneck chic ;) don't u love it when the haters are anonymous?
we did bowling last year for Wyatt and it was tons of fun. this year was lazer tag which is more red neck? :)
I made a butterfly cake for Abby's #2 it was super easy, you can buy a cake pan at Micheal's or anywhere that sells Wilton products it really was easy and I am no cake decorator.
that bouncy thing looks awesome
not sure on halloween, Wyatt is to old for me to influence I lost him a few years ago:( Abby is still all mine! She was Pebbles her first year it was great I made a super easy costume complete with a bone barret, one year a made her a black/pink tutu with bat ribbon and dressed up a witch hat and added a few extras and she was the cutest witch, last year it was Thumbalina but I made up a costume for that also. I love Halloween:)
here is her Witch costume

If Baby girl is into anything like this I could make her a tutu they are super fun and pretty easy to do.
Do you have any idea how much I hate magazine sales? Girl Scout cookies at least sell themselves, but seriously? Who wants to buy magazines! Everybody where I live is broke!!
Hope you had a good weekend:)
I love the Nanny, too!
There will be a special place in heaven for you doing the cheerleading thing again!! :)
Well, I think you are the coolest mom ever....I would never be able to pull off coaching cheerleading...I'm not that cool. I like the bubble bath idea
Your anonymous reader has just been sippin' that Hater-ade; just brush them haters off:) I have a new bunch of students this year, and I am getting an awesome education!
MC's last party was the exterminator (Vexcon) party. I bought each kid bug boxes filled with goodies and put the logo on the box--a huge hit. Your bug party will be awesome!
BabyGirl's birthday will be so cute!!!!
A bubble bath costume would be so cool!!!!! Costumes were so much easier to come up when we didn't have a whole gaggle of kids, wasn't it??
