Fridays, this Fall.

*I can't wait for some of my favorites sitcoms to come back.  I think I've seen all of The Nanny reruns. Her outfits are a hot mess, but I love Maxwell/ Mr. Sheffield.   Has anyone heard anything about Accidentally on Purpose? I loved that show.

*Thank you for all your assistance yesterday.  I got lots of great bra tips & will be making some purchases ASAP.  Thanks to Joy for introducing me to Kidzui.  It is awesome & if you have little ones that get on the computer, I highly recommend it.  Even Sassy wanted to try it out.  No more worrying about Big Boobs. well except for mine.

*I still haven't found any butterfly nets I love & can afford to buy 30 of.  Yes. 30 children, well actually 28, & that's not counting adults.  Parties around here are always a big production & all our friends seem to have big families.  I always include the siblings, because you know I always have all mine in tow.

*Bo had to recite a nursery rhyme at school today.  He chose "Little Boy Blue".  Isn't he cute?  Like that haystack, don't you?

*Here's some pictures of our Labor Day (well day before) fun.  Retro's family owns a spring & the water is freezing, but crystal clear & fun.  Click on the pictures to enlarge & please excuse my back fat.

*I wanted to give y'all a little update on Sassy.  She is doing much better.  She is taking Concerta & going to academic support every day. I love both of her teachers. They think Sass is the sweetest thing she's got them fooled big time. They are both really supportive & keep me in loop on everything. She has only had 1 major meltdown over homework since school began. Knock on wood. Her attitude at home has improved a little too. Her teacher posts their cumulative grades weekly & she has all As & 1 B, in Social Studies (that was her best subject last year).  Thanks for all your support, concern & prayers.  Baby Girl? same.

*The Semi-Slacker social calendar is quickly filling up! Soccer practice starts tomorrow & cheerleading starts Monday. And wouldn't you know it, a few of their games overlap. in different towns. Sprinkle in church, dance, my Bible Study & cheer camp. I'm hosting a bridal shower on Saturday (that overlaps with soccer), a party for a friend who is going to Iraq next Saturday, Baby Girl's birthday party the next Saturday, then my cousin's wedding, Couples Bunko (I can't wait!) & the fair is coming to town with Miranda Lambert. So let me apologize for not being a good blogger these past weeks & tell you it ain't going to get any better any time soon.

*I'm going out to eat & drink with my besties tonight! Retro's keeping the children. I may or may not return.

*I think David Letterman is a moron. If Chelsea Handler would clean up her act a bit, she could totally take his job.  (I was up late last night.)

Oh and I hear ya on the sports thing we have 2 playing baseball and it keeps up super busy-this week 4 games in 2 nights, next week 5 games (1 everyday), the next week 6 games (2 one day and 1 all the other days and those 2 are at the same time so we gotta pick favorites)

30 butterfly nets? Sounds like it's going to be a fun day. Have you tried looking for them at the oriental trading company? They have bug nets 6 for $9 www.orientaltrading.com Not sure that's your price range, but I'll let you decide that :)

Have a great day!

Your children are precious! I had the cutest bug & butterfly party if you need ideas. Each child took home a cage full of ladybugs to release in their garden!

I feel your pain in planning a birthday party. I am a member of the group "I hate birthday goodie bag crap" on FB." Don't know who came up with this group, but it really describes the way I feel about the stuff that goes along with planning a party. Several friends and I have started giving a nice iced cookie or a bag w/a water bottle and small bag of Goldfish crackers. The goodie bag stuff really stresses me out and as a mama I really don't want to bring a bunch of junk home from a party. We have large parties too w/lots of friends and family.

Your fall sounds similar to ours. Hope to try to catch an episode of that sitcom. Happy Fall!!!

I didn't read the other posts, so you may already know this. I saw some cute buggy stuff at Dollar Tree. At one time, they had butterfly nets. The other day, they even had magnifiers that held bugs in the handle. The handle also had a pair of tweezers in it. Let me know if you need me to do anything.

Cracker Barrell on Eisenhower in Macon has a box full of really nice butterfly nets. They are 80%off and are on the front porch for their summer sale. Just saw them this afternoon so they may still have them. Good Luck!

Yes, that was me at Jim Shaw's. haha.
I'm usually not that unsocial!! I wasn't sure if you knew that was me or not and then it just didn't work out for me to come talk to you. I'm not a big fan of walking up to a table when dinner is in progress, and we were trying to catch a movie- which we missed and had to wait for the next one, oh well! If I run into you again... I promise I'll say something!
Hope you enjoyed your dinner! I know I did!! It's one of my favs!
