It's still fruit, even if it is covered in chocolate!

I have GOT to share with y'all my newest discovery!

Retro & I went to Publix yesterday, armed with a notebook-page-full grocery list! We were even out of sugar. Not to mention the $200 worth of snacks we needed to buy. I had the ingredients bananas & chocolate chips to make frozen chocolate bananas because they were in the 2 kid cookbooks I was looking for ideas in on my list. Then the heavens parted & the angels started to sing when I feasted my eyes on this product...

Sooo easy to make! Seriously, aside from freezing the bananas for an hour, it took me a total of about 10 minutes to make these things. And y'all know I'm all about easy! And the children loved them.  Sass said they were better than the ones at the fair!  You can also do strawberries! Oh my heavens!  I emailed the company to tell them how much I loved their product!  Maybe they'll send me a case of the stuff!

It is still fruit, even if it is covered in chocolate.

I saw these at the store this weekend, too. I'll have to try the next time I "cheat" on my diet. No chocolate covered anything for me right now!

That definitely counts as a serving of fruit!!

Definitely gotta agree - its still fruit! And if you think about it very healthy fruit too...doesnt chocolate have some sorta good properties to it? Or is that only dark chocolate?

I have been seeing banana babies at the store, 4 bucks a box, I didn't even THINK about doing them at home. I'm very smart that way lol

Thats a great idea! I tried to make them at home one time. I know how hard can putting melted chocolate on a banana really be? Well...apparently pretty hard at least for me (but then again calling my cooking skills remedial would be giving me the benefit of the doubt.) I am going to have to buy the kit! Good call. I'm on my way to the store!
