Semi-Slacker's Beach Week of Giveaways - Day 3

Hey! My name is Semi-Slacker Mom & I'm a carboholic!

And one of my most favorite carbs comes in the form of Suddenly Salad!  I have always liked Suddenly Salad, maybe because it combines two of my favorite things; pasta & seasonings! And IT'S easy!  or you can be a show-off & kick it up a notch.

So when Betty called really emailed & it wasn't Betty, I was all in! And it being summer & I'm all about grilling these days, what perfect timing.
Whether it´s for an afternoon in the backyard with friends and family or a block party in the neighborhood, it´s time to start thinking about which delicious dish you´ll be dropping off at the picnic table. Rather than bringing the usual potato salad or coleslaw, add excitement to your party plate by spicing up traditional summer salads with Betty Crocker´s Suddenly Salad® mixes.

With Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad mixes, you can whip up a unique and delicious side dish in the time it takes to boil pasta. Each box of Suddenly Salad comes with ready-to-cook pasta and a seasoning packet. Put your own spin on it by adding your choice of mix-ins to create a one-of-a-kind pasta salad that will wow your guests. With seven different flavors, including new Greek, you´re sure to find a family pleasing favorite that no one will ever guess isn´t made from scratch!

For great recipe ideas and to learn about the different varieties of Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad mixes, visit www.SuddenlySalad.com. There, you´ll find great recipes, including one for Greek Tossed Pasta Salad, using Suddenly Salad Caesar pasta salad mix, and Garden Ranch Pasta Salad, using Suddenly Salad ranch & bacon pasta salad mix.

Betty Crocker sent me a "Suddenly Delicious" prize pack, which including the newest variety, Suddenly Salad Greek, a Pyrex storage container, a cute serving bowl and a fabulous insulated tote (that will be going to the beach).

AND Betty also wants to send an additional prize pack to one of my readers!

My go to item is either Lemon bars (if I want to turn the oven on). These I make and then I will put them in the freezer until needed.

Favorite summer time recipe.... I'm not sure. I like poke cake with fresh strawberries and cool whip. You know where you take a cake mix, bake it, poke holes with a fork and then pour jello over it. Yum.

An insulated tote? Did it work? I need something like that to bring to work. We don't have a frig at my new job.

Oops...forgot to tell you my favorite summertime activity. It's probably making homemade ice cream. I use my husband's grandmother's recipe for PEACH (using GA peaches, of course)! It's beyond delicious!

My husband's mom is in to making homemade ice creams. Last night we had reese's peanut butter and butterfinger chocolate. I enjoy it because where I come from, we didn't do too much homemade icecream.
