This & That & a little bit of drama

Here's what's leftover in my head from a kinda crazy week.

*I just burnt 2 bags of popcorn, back to back, in the microwave.  WTH?  I can't even cook popcorn anymore?

*As promised here's a picture of Bo's head.  Notice his eyes?  They are glued to the computer screen, so if you're reading this & I haven't commented lately, this is the reason.
I covered it with makeup for the school pictures.  It helped a little. The scab's coming off now, much better.

*The craziest thing happened today, the mother of a high school friend had a massive heart attack & died immediately after her husband's (his father) funeral.  We're talking at the cemetary.  I don't know what I would do.  I can't even imagine.

*T-ball is the obsession sport of choice right now.  And Bo is all about it!  My nephew is also on the team & I'll share with you some of the goings-on 4 practices in.

-1st practice: I saw him hit another little boy, so I head out onto the field.
Me: Why did you do that?
Bo: He made me hit him.  He said said my cousin had on baby shorts.
I have no idea about the baby shorts, they looked normal to me & if y'all had heard him say cousin...it was like country come to town.

-4th practice: He was pitching with one of the coaches & I saw the coach make him sit down against the fence.
Me: Did you have to blast him about something?
Coach: He'll do real good when he learns who's in charge. I'm trying to get him to throw overhand not underhand & he keeps telling me "but I'm throwing good." Yeah it's good, but it ain't right.

I can tell this is going to be a long spring!  And I don't really even like baseball.

*Mr. Tim's funeral really got me thinking about what they'll say at mine.  There may be a post on that coming up.  Have y'all ever thought about this?

*I hurt my back supervising some sodding in my yard.  I don't even know how. For those of you that are new, I have a stress fracture in my back.  I quite often mention to my family members that I do all I do with a broken back.  It typically doesn't even phase them.

*Is it bad that my son can quote just about all the lines from The Squeakal & he just got it from the Easter Bunny. "It's on like Donkey Kong" is his favorite line. How 80s is that?

*Wanna get rid of some Easter candy?  Make S'mores out of Peeps & chocolate bunnies! On the grill!

Peeps Smores on the grill sounds great!

That is so sad about your friends parents. I can't even imagine...

And I hadn't thought what would be said at my funeral, until now. Interesting to think about.

That is crazy and sad about the friend's parents.

I heard once that you should live your life according to what you'd want people to say at your funeral. But I haven't given it much thought.

You can back up your Blogger posts through your Settings/Export Blog. You can then store it on your hard drive. It's a great way to back up your blog in case anything happens.

Happy Friday Follow!

Oh poor Bo, I hope his forehead is healing! The popcorn bags could be defective, we've had entire boxes that aren't right!

S'more Peeps... OMG! My mouth is watering!

My kid quotes stuff from Madagascar all the time. Obviously we need to limit her movie watching.

Hello, there are no peeps left! You can have four peeps for only two points; those were wiped out by the day after Easter. Hope this week is better.

Peep s'mores sounds AWESOME! But now I am thinking about their little fake faces melting away....lol Bo's head is looking good. It could be worse, right!

Ouch Bo!

I'm sorry about your friend's mother. That's just so sad.

I worked with a girl who's father had a massive heart attack and died during their father daughter dance at her wedding. This is right up there with that. Awfully sad.

Omg, his head looks so bad!

I don't even want to know what people would say at my funeral! My husband told me last year after my cousin's funeral that he wanted to be buried in a zoot suit with a big pimp watch!
