Things change...

I never in a million years would have thought I would like basketball.  I probably went to 2 games in high school & maybe 1 in college ( & we didn't have a FB team, so BB was THE sport).  I have always loved football, but besides ringing the net & knew nothing about basketball.  Even at the football games, it was all about socializing!

Then at Bo's game today, I found myself hollaring & totally getting into the game, even when my child wasn't playing!  He was a ROCK STAR by the way!!!

He plays Upward, which is a Christian program that promotes sportsmanship.  At one point in the game, Bo was guarding the biggest boy on the other team & I hope his parents weren't sitting near me because I was yelling to block him (which he did) & who knows what else!!!

I had to send Sass to the concession stand twice with Baby Girl because she was interuptting my focus.  I'm so proud of him, he even passed the ball (which he rarely does) to a little boy than is pigeon-toed & can't run very good & cries at every game.

So I guess now I'm a total basketball momma!  At less until baseball starts.

My kids, the pigeon toed ones who can't run very good and cry at every game, appreciate kids like Bo. And so does their embarrassed mom.

OKay, "cries at every game" was my son, who I also yelled at all day yesterday. Basketball tournement. Today I am a bad mom, becasue yesterday I told my son to suck it up and play hard. Mean, Mean , Mean.
Glad you had fun. I hope I will do better next year.
