Scatter-brained much?

Mommy's Idea

It's been that kind of week & I have tons of random thoughts spinning around in my head, so I'm linking up with Mrs. 4444's Friday Fragments.

Here goes...

*You know that weight I lost being sick, well my recent addiction to chocolate ice cream & shells & cheese has found it.

*My friend, Sam at Mama Drama (who used to live near me before we met) wrote the funniest post this week. She's got me all figured out. And we have so much in common.

*I had big plans to make a pot roast & all today. Instead I picked up KFC. I now can't stand KFC. Except the cole slaw. Love the cole slaw.

*I hope the ark gets finished in time for tomorrow's busy schedule. Basketball game, Room to Room shower & Family Fun Day at the school. I prefer Hell on Earth Day, unless I win a cake. Now that's another story. Rain, rain, go away.

*I'm so pumped that Confessions of a Semi-Slacker Mom on Facebook has almost 70 fans & that's just since Wednesday! Woo-Hoo!

*I'm giving up Coke for Lent. I have a slight obsession with the red can AND the cherry-flavored! I'm afraid before Easter, I'll either have to lock up the children or up my happy pill intake. If the people with the white jackets come for me, somebody just give me a Co-Cola!!!

*Speaking of Lent, our preacher is moving away. Y'all remember the one I blasted. And I really like him. Now I have to break in another on the crazy that is my life.

*Emma Ruth, my 90-year-old grandmother has bladder cancer. Thanks for your prayers. And Bo is having hearing problems again. (flatlined in BOTH ears, not just the bad one) So we are listening to everything at 2000 decibels. And he's trying to teach himself sight words. So I have to repeat the ones he doesn't know 50 times while driving to school in the pouring rain.

*My Alma Mater is having homecoming February 20 (it's only a basketball school) & the Mass Comm department is having a reunion, maybe I should take Sass so she will believe I went to college. Since apparently I'm not smart enough to do 2nd grade math. Unfortunately (well fortunately for me) Retro & I will be attending a flossy engagement party for some friends!

*Y'all go enter my GIVEAWAY!

Have a great weekend!

I am struggling w/ 2nd grade math, too! It helps somewhat if I put my glasses on, but not much. :) My daughter keeps saying, 'it's okay mom, they're using a new program this year.' So sweet, but it doesn't make me feel better.

Thoughts and prayers are with your grandma and son.
