Just another Semi-Slacker day

Y'all ain't going to believe this.

This afternoon Aunt Crissy & I were getting some MORE of my Christmas decorations from the basement, when I heard "Mommy, help me. I tuck"

Houdini, I mean Baby Girl, somehow got herself stuck in the underside of the glider rocker's ottoman.

Seriously. I can NOT for the life of me figure out how she did it!

While Aunt Crissy & I were freaking out, well not that much because I was able to take pictures, she was steadily watching Wow! Wow! Wuzzby! Oblivious to what was going on. Except when she had to say ouch.

We pulled, pushed, applied lotion, everything we could think of. I called Retro & of course he didn't answer his phone, so I called my MIL (they live next door). Gammi & Daddy B came over armed with all kinds of tools.

The end result was cutting her out of the thing. We had to call in the Jaws of Life. really a little saw thingy. Notice her wrenching her neck to see her show.

Poor ottoman. It was a shower gift (coincidentally from my in-laws) when I had Sassy. Well it was a good 8 year run.

She has been a one woman wrecking crew all weekend! Is it Monday yet?

**Their elves showed up today. (I finally found them!) We'll see how good that works. I'm thinking not.

Oh my gosh. That is hilarious that you had to cut her out of it! How in the world did she manage that?

Hilarious! It doesn't look like Baby Girl was slacking! I love that she watched tv throughout the whole rescue, my girls would be doing the exact same thing!

How in the heck did she manage to do that? My kids would have been freaking out the entire time.

She looks so totally unconcerned about the whole thing!

This reminds me of some of the things my brother did as a child. You will enjoy bringing this up when she is a teenager!

How do kids do things like this? Glad she made it out and the only casualty was the ottoman.

OMG, I bet you got so much done with an immobile child! Joking! This is hysterical (because it is not my child :) although I could see either of mine figuring out how to get in such a predicament!) Glad she's out... and you are scaring me that maybe girls aren't easier!?!?

The pic of her watching her show oblivious to the drama going on around her is cracking me up!
