Decorating Ideas?

I'm open to any & all suggestions on how I should paint, or rather have painted, Baby Girl's room . I'm kind of thinking about pink & green stripes, but I don't know. Her bed is white with a picket fence look & she has a bookshelf in the shape of a dollhouse that is currently white, but needs repainted. So give me all your ideas.

Bo & I are also having so issues on his room. It is NOT going to look like the Island of Sodor!!!

I say do green and white stripes and then do pink accents/bedding. I think the green is more versatile than the pink and I like the contrasting colors :)

I love the stripes idea. I'd totally do it if I had the patience.

What about pink with a lighter shade of pink stripe. Might be easier to do ;-)
Then use green and pink in the decor. There is a lot of Lilly in twin sizes on ebay!!
I love the idea of stripes.

Seriously? I totally had an Island of Sodor room! Complete with {no lie} over 350 trains in it. Nuts. Was I ever glad when he got over that phase.
Ideas on a girl room? Sorry! I only have boys!

Just trying to catch up. Loved your FF, they were cracking me up. Love the pink and green stripe idea. Goose has a green and pink room, love it. Two different color green on the walls and mostly pink accents.

I really like the idea of the stripes - I love little girls rooms that are actually girly!

When I left for college, mom gave my room to my sister. My room was earth tones, very pretty and classy. It fit me perfectly. Sister though... It's not her style - At. All.

The room now has 3 purple walls and a pink walk, a silky blue comforter, pink sheets and throw pillows, pink and green curtains, pink and green polka dots on the wall. It's very bright and busy but it's perfect for my sister. You walk in her room and just know it's hers!

I'd go with something basic, like her favorite colors. No characters or specific things, only because she may be into something else completely in another couple years and then you're stuck staring at Ariel the Mermaid on her bedroom wall until she's 18 and leaves for college!

I hope you'll post pics when you're done...I need some ideas for my kids' rooms!

I love the pink and green stripes idea or you could do a green and white theme and then add pops of pink.

I have adorable vinyl decals in my shop that I have in Mini #2's room. You could do a big pink monogram to put on the wall after you paint the stripes...HOW CUTE THAT WOULD BE!

I hear you on the Island of Sodor bit. I am really starting to get sick of trains. Paul has a train comforter, but from Company Kids, so not Thomas exactly, but we have every other Thomas and Sodor Engine, Train, etc. known the man. I did win on the curtains though, but thought it was going to be WWIII. Keep us posted!
