Happy Birthday Babsy!

This is one of my favorite pictures of our 4 generation family.
Semi-Slacker Mom (hugely preggy with Baby Girl), Sass, Babsy & Granny J.

Some of you monogram fanatics may enjoy how Babsy got her grandmother name. Her monogram is BAB, so we decided to call her Babs but Sassy added the -y- when she started talking & it stuck. Happy Birthday Momma! We love you!

And some pictures from our busy weekend...

Baby Girl & Hunter Re just a-swinging at the picnic. Since I posted a picture of HM with strawberry all over her face, I felt like I needed to post her pretty little clean face. And yes, Baby Girl does have on her Target wellies with her cute little Bailey Boys outfit. In her defense, the applique is of a duck with a umbrella splashing in the rain - hence the rain boots.

Having fun at the festival! Face-painting (I can't believe she sat this still!), inflatables & trains. What more could a kid ask for? Apparently cupcakes, because Baby Girl must have told me she needed one 50 times or at least until I got her one.

You supposed to slide down it not jump down it!
This boy is in heaven!!!

How cute is this? Our little town is having this scavenger hunt thingy for these owls that local artists painted. The children are having a blast looking for them! We have a farmer one at our fruit stand. Note to self: stop dropping $100 a trip to Toys R Us, just hide animals around town. This owl is Baby Girl's favorite! It has a Lambie & a peach. Retro will be writing a check for this one when the hunt is over!

And... I just had to share with ya'll some small-town entertainment. This is my friend, Telina, in the Pie-Eating Contest! I'm sure she's going to love that I am sharing her picture with the world!
Who needs Broadway when you can have this kind of fun?

Love the 4 generation picture and especially the fact that you are pregnant. You will love having that picture in years to come. I have very few pictures when I was pregnant, unfortunately. Looks like the kids had a great time at the fun day. That owl is adorable. What a cute idea. Happy Birthday to your Mom. I love her Grandma nickname! Love & blessings from NC!

Let's talk about the fact that you look 15 in that picture. So really it looks like a 3 generational pic - Mom, Grandmom, Teenage daughter pregnant and with one child already ;-) It seriously is so precious. Love it!! xoxo

The pictures in this post are classics! The one with the face paint just oozes exhaustion, and it's beautiful (it's hard work making 50,000 requests for cupcakes). And your lovely friend with the pig nose?! I LOVE it :)

Happy B-day, Babsy :)

I like that owl! How cool! We had local artists do tigers a few years back when the Detroit Tigers went to the World Series. A few homes now have them on display around town. I def think you guys need this owl!

I love the photos of your family. Plus they remind of how nice it is to live in a small area where you can have fun doing silly things that are for children and adults alike.
