Friday Fragments

*If I sent some cookie recipes to Pillsbury, do you think they would make them into the break & bake version?

*Why is it when I get sick, my children decide to act like they have absolutely no "home-training" what.so.ever?

*It's a good thing cats have 9 lives because Lizzie's already down to 7.

*Everything should go smoothly with tomorrow night's Bunko BBQ Bash because we've had enough drama at the Semi-Slacker house today to last quite a while!!!

So we're getting the yard ready for the party & the littles & I rode the golf cart down to the road to get the trash can, I get off the golf cart for like 2 seconds to put the trash can up & Baby Girl mashes the gas & runs right into my truck (about 4 feet away)!!! My little handicapped Yorkie whose back legs are messed up was in the golf cart & somehow one of his good arms got pinned between the golf cart & the Denali.

Fritz is at the vet now. He is 14 years old & Retro thought they were going to have to put him down, he was madder about the dog than the truck, but thankfully he is getting a cast!

Praise the Lord no one else was hurt. Here's the damage:

Golf cart-1 Denali-0

Please notice the $1000 worth of damage to my Yukon & little smug on the golf cart.

The culprit with her handiwork

Wow...what a start to the weekend, eh? Hopefully BUNKO will smooth things out. LOL! And -- tell Baby Girl that she doesn't get her license until she's 25 now b/c of the damage she's done. LOL! ;) Have fun at the BBQ bash! Oh, and if you EVER need another BUNKO player...you know where to look. ;)

Honestly, I think pillsbury will steal your recipes and will make some serious moolah off of you. That doughboy has never struck me as being trustworthy!

Holy cow, another day in your house. I'm glad everyone is alright. I bet after it was all over with it was hard not to laugh about it.

The picture of the little culprit is a cute one! If it happens again at the age of 16 ~~~~ it might not be so cute!

Keep me informed on the Pillsbury Plan.....

PS--You have a busy household! Yowsa Momma!

You poor thing. If it's not one thing it's another! Glad everyone is okay!

From the looks of the dent in your Denali that must be one bad ass golf cart!

Awww, the poor doggie...we better hope that lil guy has 9 lives, right? I could totally see one of my kids doing the same thing...I feel like I should do reverse psychology on them sometimes to get them to NOT do stuff. When I say "do NOT touch the stove, it's hot"...what do you think they do....touch the freakin hot stove. So now if I say, "please put your hand on the hot stove", I'd like to think they'd avoid it like the plague.

I'll have to check out your flip-flop swap! Sounds fun!

Baby Girl is so precious even though she can't drive. xoxo

Oh Baby Girl!
Figures the golf cart would come out with no damage. Poor Fritz. What a day...That Baby Girl has places to go apparently so get out of her way (or hide the keys!)

You could have a reality show about your adventures!! LOL! Sorry that happened, but at least no one was seriously hurt (except the dog). Hope the rest of the weekend turned out nice. Baby girl is precious. She just needs some driving lessons. Love & blessings from NC!

OMG!!! A car crash at 4. Don't tell your insurance, they will never insure her later :).

I completely relate about being sick. Kids tend to forget everything they are taught when we are at their mercy.

Holy Crap! I'm seriously behind on my blog reading... I'm just relieved that everyone is mostly okay. Poor little Fritz :(
