Friday Fragments

My Random Thoughts for the week~

If times get tough around here, I might be pimping out Bo & Baby Girl to the WWF. They practice everyday!

If you spent too much time trying to catch up on blog reading & commenting, your 2 yr. old & 4 yr. old may very well tear your house down!

The reason I don't like to cook is because when I do, I get way too "help".

If you are building a house or moving into a new one & have or plan to have small children, my advice is to make sure your kitchen has a door that you can close when necessary.

My new favorite quote is: Grant me patience to deal with my blessings.

The preschool Easter Egg Hunt had to be cancelled altogether. So my kids didn't have to miss it after all. One word - Karma.

Beginning on September 18, I will be in mourning indefinitely. My all-time favorite television show, The Guiding Light, will be going off the air.

My favorite thing Baby Girl is saying lately is "So poud of me?" She asks me this after she goes potty, if I forget to tell her "I'm so proud of you".

I love the no cooking reason. I have to think up one for myself as my daughter could care less about helping me.

I love the quote and even though I don't watch "The Light," I had no idea it was going off the air!!

Oh how I can relate to you. The two year old and four year old strike hear often.

Ummmm - somebody better not be forgetting to tell Baby Girl that you are proud of her!!! She is such a little genius. So glad to hear she is heading for the WWF. ;-)

I know, can you even believe our "story", the amazing GL is going off the air? It is the end of an era! My Grammie, my mom and I all watched it. I still remember when, as a little girl, my mom let me watch (after Daddy told her not to let me watch such trash!) where Reva and Vanessa dressed up like Scarlett O'Hara!

Your kitchen comment made me LOL! We have 3 (THREE) entries to our kitchen. Only one has a door. I have 2 too many entrances.

My Smarta$$ 10 year old says to me, all the time, "If you're so in love with your computer you should MARRY it!" Ok, you may call me Mrs. Hewlett-Packard from here on in!

3 days before I meet your BF!!!!

You are too FUNNY!! I just love reading your blog. It always makes me laugh. I can so remember times with my own children years ago. Cherish these moments, as crazy as they may be! They pass by so fast and then you are like me with no children at home. I still have my pre-school class to love on each day. They are so cute! I just love your favorite saying this week about patience. I have added it to my journal.
Have an amazing weekend and I hope you are having some of this beautiful sunshine! Love & blessings from NC!

I loved these fragments; they are so, so sweet and remind me of the early years with my own two. Even today, at ages 13 and 16, they could make a run at the WWF. I'm poud of you :)

Yup, just count Garrett in with your two little ones!! They'd have one heck of a WWF team, don't ya think!!

I feel the same way about cooking. I'm usually in a hurry and one of the kids always wants to help, which ultimately slows me down. But I know it's a learning experience for them so I try to just grit my teeth and give them easy things to do.
