Conversations in the Car...

On the way to school this morning, after the 'Best of Both Worlds' remix came on the XM Radio kid's station.

Any other time we'd be jamming to Laurie Berkner.

Bo: Hannah Montana rocks.
(Huh?)

Baby Girl: Hannah Tana
(Lovely!)

Sassy: All the boys at school like Hannah Montana. ALL the boys say she's hot!
(Does she even know what HOT means?)

Me: Even Travis?
(She secretly has a crush on him. And he is anti-girly stuff.)

Sassy: Even smelly, stinky Travis.
(What's the difference between smelly & stinky?)

Sassy: And let me lay this on you, everybody watches 'Drake & Josh'.
(Did she just say 'let me lay this on you'? How old is this child?)

Me: Well... let me lay this on you, I don't care who watches 'Drake & Josh'. Nickelodeon goes off 5 minutes before SpongeBob comes on.
(I detest SpongeBob.)

Sorry Nick. Your shows geared to kids past preschool stinks!!! Even more than Travis.

Disclaimer: Travis doesn't stink. He's a cute, sweet little boy. Bo has a crush on his 3rd grade sister.

We caught my sister on our answering machine telling her friend Evan that she was "not in the mood" to play!

Let me lay this on you, this was just too funny. We simply do not watch sponge bob in this house either.

Yay for you on the TV issue! Sponge Bob gives me the creeps - as does Barney{'s} - unless it's the store in NYC. I have often thought about how hard it is now to have small children and a TV in the house. It was nearly this bad when mine were little. Even some of the Disney programming is a bit much!! Love these convos!!

This sounds so much like the convos I hear after picking up my two 2nd-graders every day. Good times!

thanks to a 10 year old and 8 year old sibling my 3 year old asks for Phineas & Ferb all the time. Now that show is hilarious!!! (Just don't think my 3 year old really gets it tho!)

I love that!! How funny that Sassy is already using those terms!! My 4 yr olds have started doing the same thing and half the time, I don't think they even know what they're saying!!!

My daughter LOVES Hannah Montana!! She wanted to see the movie so I made a friend of mine bring her daughter and come with us. We ended liking the movie...I felt so immature!

Holy cow! Let me lay this on you. I love it. I think I might just have to use those words to Husby sometime this weekend.
