The Crocoholics just got their latest shipment of some good stuff.
Sassy got the new Gabby style, Bo got a lovely Scooby-Doo pair & Baby Girl got some Pen-sis (that looks bad) Mary Janes. I'll admit, the Princess Mary Janes are kinda cute on her.
If (like BoBo) your child is obsessed with all things Thomas (& you fuel this addiction) & you are interested in being in the running for Mother of the Year, then tickets to a Day Out With Thomas near you are a must have!
If not, stop reading because you won't know what the heck I'm talking about.
We went to see Thomas the last time he was in Georgia & Bo loved it. During our visit, Thomas, Annie & Clarabell took us to the Island of Sodor (actually we just crossed over a lake, but don't tell BoBo) & we met Sir Topham Hatt. And much to Retro's delight, Bo (read SSM) was able to find a commemorative t-shirt & caboose from the Gift Shop tent. You know we'll be there this year too! Like I said, I'm an enabler.
On other note, what do you do when someone (read Sassy) makes a dessert (read mess) with half of the icing you plan to use on your chocolate cake?
You use some leftover icing from the frig & make a "Chocolate Covered Strawberry" cake! That's devil's food cake, strawberry icing in the middle & chocolate icing on the outside. And because I think I'm on Food Network, I fanned a strawberry on top. I'm cool like that.
*Only boxed cake mix & canned icing were used in the making of this creation.*

We are also crocaholics, it's ok though, they wear well on mudy feet.
We have done the Day Out with Thomas 3 years in a row with the middle one and now that he "Hates" thomas the baby loves his choo-choos-so we'll be visiting Thomas again this May.
That cake sounds just yummy, especially with my favorite frosting-from the jar.
. . . or you can just take the frosting out of the fridge and eat it out of the container - standing up in the kitchen. . . fewer calories if eaten standing up.
I was on a girls weekend at a bed and breakfast in Pennsylvania one year. Thomas was there too and must have made a million trips up and back on the railroad track behind the B & B. LOL!!! I got my fill of Thomas. Thomas also comes to Tweetsie Railroad every year in June (near Blowing Rock, NC). My 3 year old children at pre-school love Thomas. Your cake sounds pretty amazing. I'll be watching you on the food channel pretty soon. Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
Oh Thomas I thought I was done with thee then along came baby #2 another boy and guess what was on all day again today Thomas. How I loathe to walk out in the middle of the night and jam my toe on Thomas, Percy, Ann or a Cranky (which mind you I am at this point) ... LOL
Stopping by from SITS :)
I have a fun giveaway going if you would like to stop by, a little out of the norm for me. Back to Mom on Monday, but for today a little something fun.
Alexis @ Running Away ;)
Croc's came out after the time that they would have looked adorable on the little one's feet!
Darn, I think they are so cute!
I am wishing you posted a picture of the cake!!!! Sounds yummy.
