Too much drama...

Let me start by saying Sassy should have been an only child! My mother is probably laughing her head off as she reads this, because she always says this about me. But none the less, sometimes I think Sassy thinks she is an only child.

This being said, Sassy is also a performer. Singing, dancing, karaoke. Her stage is in our living room & guess who gets to be the audience.

When she gets the urge to perform, I am required to stop WHATEVER it is I'm doing & watch her "show". Sometimes I enjoy this. Sometimes like today, there were things I needed to be doing. But to pacify the Queen of Complaints I sat nicely & watched her dance to N*Sync's Christmas.

Then Bo asked me to cut up his pancake that he was enjoying at 2:30 in the afternoon. I got up, turned my back to her for FOUR, seriously 4 steps toward Bo & she pitches a fit! And breaks this cute little skiing snowman toy thing. That we have had for like ever!

So needless to say, I lose my cool (because I'm not Michelle Dugger & don't have any happy pills!). As I am yelling at her about being selfish, she runs into her room. Such drama! She gives me time to cool down & comes down & apologizes. Around here, the "I'm sorrys" flow like water.
********************************************
And yes, I am in a bad mood! I've got a cold & I'm tired. Yesterday, we had Family Fun Day at Sassy's school. And I'm a room mother so we were there from 1 to 5. Me, Matt Lizzie, Sassy, Bo & Baby Girl. Woo-Hoo! I much as I pay that school, they should have that kinda stuff during school hours. And I didn't even win a cake at the cake walk.

Retro's says it's suppose to just rain this weekend at Beech Mtn. Just groovy. If he thinks we are backing out on this trip, he's crazy as hell! He works all the time, he's a farmer, so I'm so ready for him to spend some quality time with his children. (read that last part in a sarcastic tone)

I do have a drama princess (working on queen) at home. My sympathy goes out to you!

I hope your mood turned around and that you will get a little respite soon.

Don't feel bad; it's good for her to learn she's not the center of the universe. I remember those days...

Why is it that husbands have to work so much and leave us with these heathens?
