I couldn't make stuff like this up...

Please excuse the tie-dyed shirt, she messed up her shirt in route to the hospital & that was the only thing available. After she got her IV we were stuck with it on for 3 days!

Now Bo is sick. Not quite as bad, but a joy none the less.

And so is my D.A.M.N. computer! My only source of sanity has let me down!

And after explaining my current situation and threatening to come up there with my children in tow, Dr. Andrews finally decided I needed some happy pills. The last time I asked for something, she told me to "suck it up"! I really think her nurse was scared I was going to come up there & go postal. She gave me Clonazepam. Ever heard of it? Any other suggestions?

So hopefully, by the time the black plague is gone from our house, the Semi-Slacker Mom will be back to her jovial, good commenting, active member of the blog world, self!

Keep your fingers crossed!

Bless your heart -- y'all are going through so much! Hope everyone is well soon (and that you'll get a little down time too).

I took Clonazepam for some neuro problems I was having a couple years ago -- it worked very well! Something the doctors won't tell you, but be sure to drink LOTS of water with this...sip on something as constantly as you can. And, if your mouth gets dry, don't use mints or gum (unless they contain xylitol) or it could lead to dental problems down the road.

You're in my prayers!

take care of yourself, so you can take care of your family, you dont have to "suck it up" thats why there is medicine to help you through. Ive only had zoloft before and it took a few days to notice, but it worked. I hope yours works more quickly :)

Praying that things get better soon. It is so hard to take care of yourself and everyone else too. Hopefully everyone will be on the mend soon, and those pills work for you.

Poor baby girl and poor you, I hope the whole family feels better soon..

Ativan (lorazepan) is the best stuff out there. Not something you take daily but only when you need it.

Has a one beer effect for four hours. It doesn't make you sleepy, just relaxed. I call it my "one beer pill"

Good stuff....

Mom told me last night about all of that crap going around. I'm glad Baby Girl is better, and I hope Bo gets better soon, too. Glad you got some happy pills. Hopefully they'll help. It's not easy...trust me. We're back and into reality...not enough time to get caught up on crap. LOL!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH: my bubonic better not be roto.

Glad all is better.

Never heard of Clonazepam. I initially pronounced it Clonzi- pan. Kind of like Fonzi. So.. there you go .. it must be cool. :)

I used lexapro and most recently before baby embedding itself: cymbalta. Cymbalta= all good.

take care .
