Monday Moments for Moms

I am always running across inspirational stories for mothers (and/or parents).

For Christmas, my momma got me a Mom's Devotional Bible, which has lots of wonderful "momma stories". I always have several other books with stories, quotes & devotionals (not to mention countless e-mails) all aimed at mothers.

Being a SAHM, I quite often feel overwhelmed & many times these stories help me to regain my focus on life. So I have decided, every Monday I am going to share some of these inspirational items with you! Maybe this will help all of us start our week off on a positive note.

I would like to invite all of you to join me in "Monday Moments for Moms". You can post a story, quote or devotional you have read, an email you have received or a personal story that has inspired you.

I don't know how to make a button, but if any of you do & would like to do one for this, I would love it!!!

This is the first item that I want to share. I am really trying to use more positive words with my children. I need to print this out & post it on my frig!

This is a great idea SSM. Even though mine are grown and gone, I might post some things from the past :-)

I have this same poster on my wall in my pre-school class. Small world!!! I will have to share some stories about my 3 year olds in my class sometime. They can say some precious things. Oh, the innocence of children

I had this taped to my bathroom mirror for years but lost it in one of the moves--maybe I will print out your lovely colorful copy and tape it up again!

I love that idea and I love that you will let anyone make a button for you. I bet it's easy, but I have not clue, either.

This is a great idea! Love the list, especially the praise: "Creative Job!" That is perfect for my kids. :)

What fabulous thoughts to share! I don't believe children can hear enough praise each day!

I just bought a devotional book for busy moms... a bit ironic that I've been too busy to start reading it yet, LOL!

Working moms need inspiration too! With that being said, I do think that sometimes we go overboard in praising our children, especially in school. :-/

Hey,
I already have plastic headbands with bows on the site and I'm also working on adding a line of crocheted headbands with bows, with flowers and with other embellishments. You'll want to check back in a few weeks for those.
:)
