Bumps & Boo Boos

I am having some major issues with chapped lips. I mean like the corners of my mouth are spilt. So I have been putting on every sort of lip grease known to man.

And a greasy mouth= a pimple.

So I pop this bump (I know, TMI) & of course Baby Girl notices.

BG: Mommy jew got a boo-boo.
SSM: Yes baby, I got a boo-boo.
BG: Why?
SSM: I popped a zit.
BG: A zit?
SSM: Uh huh.
BG: Ohhh.

End of discussion.

I use good ole vaseline, it really works. Put it on your lips before you go to bed every night, and your chapped lips will be no more. I have done the same for my feet, then covering them with socks and my hands. Talk about TMI!
Also try putting chapstick on a couple of time during the day.

Kids are so darn candid, aren't they? LOL! :) Yep...I use chapstick constantly, too. I put it on probably 2-3x a day, and I always put it on at night before bed. But -- with this crazy arse GA weather, it's a wonder we're not all running around with the flue.

Have you tried antibiotic ointment?

OK, this made me laugh!

Have you tried Lysene? It works!

I use chapstick and Carmex. I use the Carmex when it's really bad and have never had any problems with zits. Hope your lips feel better. There's nothing like our own children noticing our imperfections, is there?
