Baby Girl decided last night, she wasn't going to sleep. At all. Seriously, we put her to bed at 8 & she never went to sleep. She played, cried, anything but sleep. Bo, who sleeps in the room with her, slept through all her antics. Wish I could have!
Finally, and I mean finally, at 4:45 AM, I brought Bo downstairs & put him on the couch. And turned on Baby Girl's light, locked the door, went back to bed & fell asleep. When Retro got up & went to check on her this morning, she was laying in her bed STILL AWAKE!
Ya'll might think I'm a bad momma, but I have 2 other children who got a good night's sleep & will be raring to go in the morning. I have to get some kinda sleep, even if it is only 2 hours!!!
And she has been so-o grumpy all day. I wasn't going to let her take a nap (Sassy sprayed her face with water when she tried to fall asleep!), but then Sassy went to Babsy's, Bo was engrossed in TV & I wanted to rest- so I let her sleep for about 30-45 minutes.
Tonight, Baby Girl is getting a Benadryl & I'm getting 2 Tylenol Simply Sleep pills - my drug of choice!
Please don't call DFACS on me, I'm afraid they will come out here, see how good these children have it & want to bring me more!

OMG how I can relate...almost...my once great sleeper has forgotten how to sleep on her own, or fall asleep with out tantrumming it out TIO instead of CIO!!
I swore to DH that I was getting those kid-proof knobs for the doors to keep her in a room!
I hope you get the much needed rest!!
That is too much you sure she didn't get into the Mountain Dew or something???
LOL. Benadryl? Been there, done that! Hey it was better than my MIL's suggestion of brandy on the gums.
