It's MY room!

All my life growing up, I had my own room. When I was 13, we moved into our new house & I even had my own bathroom. In college, I shared an apartment, but still had my own room. It wasn't until I decided to share my life w/ the man of my dreams did I have to share my room, more importantly my BED! I used to be a "bedhog", now everyone else in my family is.

I have a stress fracture in my back. They say it's from carrying my children. I think it's from sharing a bed w/ them & their father! Fortunately, Baby Girl still sleeps in her own room. (But I'm sure when she learns how to open her door, she'll be in the bed with me.)

This whole summer, Sassy & Bo have insisted on sleeping in my room. I drew the line on 4 people sleeping in our queen-size bed, so they sleep on a pallet right beside the bed.

However, at some point during the night, Bo usually ends up in the bed w/ me. Let me add too that my hubby sleeps w/ a pillow at his side. I say the pillow gets more room than me!!!

When school starts back, Sassy will be sleeping in her own room again. This will be the 3rd school year she's slept in her room (she be 7 soon)! I'm not holding out much hope for Bo. His room is our former playroom over our garage & being the semi-slacker mom that I am, you know I'd rather let him sleep in MY room than cry.

If it makes you feel any better, Caleb is in our bed still. We did opt to swap out the queen for a king though. Who knows when he'll move out of ours and into his? LOL! Micah is in his crib though...no chance of him joining us.
