Ready for school, how 'bout you?

Sassy is the queen of "I'm bored"! She thinks she has to be entertained 24/7! She has 2 built-in playmates, but that's not good enough. This week, I've really tried to come up w/ activities to occupy her time.

Monday, she & I went to Peach Palette, a pottery painting place. It just recently opened, so this was our 1st trip. But we love to paint pottery so it won't be our last. I think we may have Sass's bday at Peach Palette too. Here's a shot of our work. It's not my best, but Sassy's is pretty good. She wants to be an artist when she grows up.

Today, we (me, Matt, Sassy, Bo & Baby Girl) went to Dauset Trails w/ our Wonderful Wednesdays group from the church.

Dauset Trails is in Jackson. The drive there was not fun & if I heard "when are we gonna get there" one more time, I was going to scream! But once we got there, everything was great! The kids had a blast! It's very nice there, pretty & well-kept.

We had our picnic first (me, Matt & Sass ate, the other 2 played!) then went to see the amanals (as Bo says). Bo liked the otters & Sass's fav was the baby alligator in the Wonder Room (AC). The picnic area & trails were all shady so it wasn't too hot, except when we went to see the farm animals. No shade= very hot!

If you go, which I would recomend, skip the farm animals. Unless it's cool out or your kids have never seen farm animals.

On the way home, we had 2 of Sass's friends ride w/ us so the ride home was much more peaceful. Here's a shot of the kids & an owl craved out of a pine tree.

I hope ya'll like these pictures, cause it was a major pain to get them in the right place!!!!
